However, if you are someone who wants to get into this field on your own, then you may have a hard time finding a job because of the high demand.

You also need to have very good health in order to work as a phlebotomist. Before you can become qualified for this job, you must undergo an exam called the National Certification Examination for Phlebotomists. A phlebotomist who wants to become certified must obtain at least a two-year associate’s degree from an accredited medical school. If you want to become a phlebotomist who works in an animal hospital, you will be responsible for taking blood samples for the doctors. You will need to do this in the blood room, so make sure to wear comfortable scrubs that allow your skin to breathe. Other than that, you will basically do the same thing as a normal phlebotomist. However, you won’t get paid by the drop of a hat.
